About this champagne
The Baron-Fuenté champagne label was founded in 1967 by Gabriel Baron and his wife Dolores Fuentes. They started out cultivating just one hectare of vineyards. These days, the Baron-Fuenté label has over fifty hectares of vineyards which are situated in the Charly-sur-Marne region and occupy the best plots in this area, namely up against the hills overlooking the river Marne.
The vineyards cultivate traditional grapes, namely: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The Baron-Fuenté Brut is made from 70% Pinot Meunier and 30% Chardonnay grapes. The Baron-Fuenté Rosé is made from 70% Pinot Meunier and 30% Chardonnay grapes.

The lime-rich soil in the Champagne region is crucial for the grapes. “A subtle marriage of traditional grapes has led to this classic champagne which exhibits fine pedigree and body. It is a champagne suitable for any occasion!“
