In creating Oude Kaap wines, the winemakers use only the best fruit from the region as the essence of a good wine is the fruit. To determine which cuves should be selected for Oude Kaap wines, the winemakers from this estate maintain intensive contact with growers and use a very strict selection process.

This young and fruity wine has been a popular for years now because of its fruity and simple flavor. This is a wine anyone can appreciate. The red cherry flavor of Cinsaut, Ruby Cabernet and Merlot grapes really jumps out. A small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon supplements this blend to give the wine more backbone.
