The house of Antoine Stoffel is one of the most characteristic wine houses that are typical for the French Alsace (d’Alsace) region. The chateau is situated just outside Equisheim and is set up by father and mother Stoffel. Currently daughter Annick has taken over the lead, where the good old traditions like the science and art of viticulture and the love for wine and the profession of wine making, are mixed with modern processing techniques and contemporary marketing. This vineyard spans about 9 acres.

The Alsace is famous for its deliciously fresh wines. This wine has a very lively taste and is loved and enjoyed by a broad public. You can distinguish a wide variety of flavours, from ripe peaches and flowers, to pineapple and orange peel, mixed with a hint of toast. A good Riesling like this Stoffel, is always properly balanced and has a long lasting finish.

Delicious with fish and different kinds of sea food (mussels, oysters, clams) or to be enjoyed on a warm summer evening in the garden. This wine also tastes very good with an Alsace or Dutch sauerkraut dish.

Characteristics: A tasteful wine from the Alsace region, in which you can still recognise the green pastures and spring flowers in its fresh aroma.

This Gewürztraminer is one of the most outstanding wines from the Alsace, with an especially rich taste and fragrant aromas. You can taste a variety of different things: Muscat, succulent spring flowers, lychee, roses, etc. A well balanced and modern wine, based on age-old traditions and a highly regulated temperature during the fermentation process.
